Effective Feb 15 2019, General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs has revised urgent residence visa stamping Fees pertaining to New, Renew and amendment (Transfer from old to new passport or change of profession).

The New Fee is AED 142.00 inclusive 5% VAT recoverable from salary for personal or charge to business if approved by business head.

Dubai Immigration has replaced their current manual system for applying Dependents Residency with Online system that features the ability to track the application status online, pay online overstay fine, Deposits for servants and parents instead visiting immigration to pay at the bank counter. Sponsor’s Emirates ID in original is now mandatory document to process any type of online application.

Citizens of the following countries can obtain visa on arrival for 90days that can be consumed with multiple entries but within 180days from the date of first entry.

Dubai Immigration has suspended granting approval of Resident visa if they are in the country on visit or tourist visa.

Chinese visitors to the UAE can now obtain visa on arrival for 30days and may extend it for another 30days before expiry of the 30days from the date of entry.
Cost of extension is approx. AED 800
